Rhys Mathewson 1st Year Rookie [North West Darts League]
A former state junior representative has now seen Rhus take the step into the senior ranks. He played great darts all through the test series and the top 16 to qualify number 1 and will be looking forward to his first senior championships.

Wayne AtkinsWayne (Tac) Atkins 16th Year [Mersey Valley Dart League] (left)
Tac is back in the state side after a year out, he played ok in the test and then lifted to another gear when it came to the top 16 playoffs, will be looking forward to these championships.

Fred Cadby 8th Year [Mersey Valley Dart League]
Fred is finally back in the state side after 3 years off with a work injury. Played well in the tests and came through the top 16 ok to qualify No. 4. Every time he plays he shows signs that Fred is coming back to top form and will be an asset to the state side.

Frank Cox 2nd Year [Brighton Darts Association]
Frank has played some great darts this year to again make the team, learnt a lot from last year's state team and has improved a great deal this year. Loves the game and is looking forward to the challenge in front of him.

Simon Bryant 1st Year Rookie [Brighton Darts Association]
Simon has played great darts in the past couple of years in the test series and fell at the last hurdle, but not this year. A young man with a great talent and will be proving that he has what it takes and will be a great asset to our state team in Brisbane.

Peter PhillipsPeter Phillips 5th Year [Southern Districts Darts Association] (right)
Peter has been in great form this year coming through the test series at No. 1. He also won the Launceston Masters and Emu Bay Singles. Will be looking forward to the championships this year and will be looking to stay in top form for his trip to England at the end of the year.

Johnny Watkins 2nd Year [Brighton Darts Association]
Johnny is another player that loved his first year in the D.F.A at Geelong and worked even harder on his game this year to make the team again. Johnny has great drive to achieve his goals and will give his all to the team.

Jamie Hales 2nd Year [Brighton Darts Association]
Jamie came of age last year being asked to take on some big challenges in Geelong. He came through with flying colours and is looking forward to this trip to Brisbane.

Rod Bessell 17th Year Captain and Delegate
Rod has been with the State Teams for 17 years now and always knows what it takes to compete at these championships, Life member and Hall of Fame member of the Tasmanian Darts Council. Will
support his players at all times and give them every chance to excel in
Brisbane.

Craig Goldsmith 2nd Year Manager
Goldie's 2nd year as Manager and is looking forward to the trip. Has been around darts a long time and knows what it takes to win. Will give Rod and the team all the support they need in Brisbane.
