Ladies State Team

Glenda Busby
This is Glenda's 3rd year representing at the championships, Glenda has been playing well in recent events, she has ability and plays solid darts. Glenda is a consistent and reliable player who always puts in a great effort, she makes a considerable contribution to the team.

Patricia (Trish) Carter
This is Trish's 4th year representing, having previously represented in 2004, 2005 and 2007. After having a break from playing at this level for a couple of years Trish played well throughout the trials and earned her place in this years' team, and has since backed this up with good results in recent events in the ACT. Trish is back and ready to take on all opponents on the dartboards.

Kathleen (Kath) Clemson
This is Kath's 9th consecutive year representing at the championships. Kath's consistent high level of darts has kept her in the top 10 DFA rankings over the last few years, Kath is a valuable team member, her ability and commitment adds great strength to the ACT team.

Jane Cullen Player & Delegate (left)
This is Jane's 5th year representing at the championships. Jane is a consistent player and her efforts at the trials cemented her place in this year's side once again. Always determined to give 100% effort, Jane thrives under pressure and is more than capable of managing the roles of delegate and participating as a player for the best interests and success of the ACT team.

Kay Dowell
This is Kay's 1st year representing at the championships, the only rookie in the ACT ladies team. Kay has been playing darts for many years in WA prior to joining ACT darts early this year. Kay has made an impact on the local darts scene when she trialled exceptionally well and gained her place on the team, then went on to win the ACT Closed Singles. Kay will be a real asset to the ACT team this year.

Yvette Harris
This is Yvette's 6th year representing at the championships. Yvette's form has earned her a place in the team again this year. Yvette has been playing well recently in our local competition. She enjoys the experience of the Championships and is looking forward to the challenge to take her game to the next level this year.

Valerie (Charlie) Hutchinson (right)
This is Charlie's 5th year representing, and it won't be her last. Charlie has proven her worth at the top events this year and continues to thrive on darts. Charlie's 'never die' attitude is the secret to her game and she is out to show us what she is made of again this year.

Mihi (Aunty) Reid
This is Mihi's 4th year representing the ACT at the championships. Mihi aka Aunty has been playing darts for a number of years both in New Zealand and Australia. Each year she has gone from strength to strength, no stranger to competing at this level and more than capable of taking out the big finishes, a true "team player", who will put in her best effort for the success of the team.

Michael (Mick) Reid
Ladies Captain This is Mick's 1st year representing as ladies captain at the championships. Mick is no stranger to darts and has played in the ACT for many years, he has successfully played and captained Premier Teams to Grand Final victory at local level many times. With a background in coaching rugby, and junior rugby and darts, Mick has the experience and skills to bring the team together to perform well at this level and will be ex-pecting a top effort from our ladies this year.

Marie Banks-ACT Team Manager
This is Marie's 12th year representing at the DFA Australian Championships, a true veteran to the game, Marie's achievements as a player are too numerous to mention having represented at the Australasian Championships on 9 occasions prior to the establishment of the DFA. The highlight for Marie was the well earned recognition in Geelong in being welcomed into the Hall of Fame. A true legend in Australian Darts Marie's experience will be of
great benefit in her role as manager at this years' championships, Marie sets a high standard and she won't accept anything but the best from the team this year.
