Men's State Team

Geoff KimeGeoff Kime
Eighth time representing QLD, Current World Cup Doubles Champion with Anthony Fleet. Former Austra-lian Singles and Doubles winner. Winner of numerous doubles and single events in the Brisbane area. Will be a big benefit for the team. Represents Wynnum and Zone 2.

Dewayne Turner
First time in the state side has been knocking on the door for a number of years. Hails from Mackay in Zone 7. 2007 and 2009 QLD restricted singles runner up. Zone 7 Open, Mackay and Townsville Open Singles winner. QDA closed and Zone 6 doubles winner. Will be very handy in the team and will bene-fit from the experience.

Patrick Orreal
First time in the state side. Grand slam of PDC. International player of the year DPA and Ranked 49 in the world for PDC. Will be a great benefit to the team.

James Bailey
Third time in the state team. Australian Rookie in 2005 and runner up in Aust. Doubles in 2005. QLD Doubles winner 2004 -5 and 10. Very steady player and will be an asset to the team.

Russell Homer
Russell's tenth time in the state team. Has won the Aust men's doubles and runner up twice and has won numerous tournaments throughout Queensland. Represents Zone 6 and Townsville. Will be an encouraging influence over the new players and will perform to the best of his ability.

Third time representing the state won the Pacific Masters in 2002. A strong player for Zone 6 and Townsville. Looking forward to the Championships to give his best for QLD.

Michael McCreadie
First time in the state team has been around for a while and has finally cracked in the top in the state.
Former Tennant Creek Golden Nugget winner in 1997, won Zone 7 Open, NQ Open Has represented Zone 6 & Townsville for the past 10 years. Good steady player will not let the team down and is looking forward to these Championships.

Darren Kirk
Back in the state side after a long break former Aust. mixed doubles winner and has been in the Aust. top eight averages. Has represented Logan City for 14 years and Zone 10 for 20 Years for trials. Karaoke world heat winner 2007 at the Waterford hotel. Looking to play Darts well for the state.

Rob Gunn - Captain
First time as State Captain four years as men's manager. Has been involved in Darts for 32 years as a player and Official representative. Represented Zone 5 and Hervey Bay. Looking forward to taking on the Captains role and working hard with Manager Llew and the team and is sure we will come up with positive results.

Llew Jensen - Manager
First time in as Manager and has been playing darts since 1983 and represented Zone 5 and Gladstone. Captained the Zone 5 men's team. Has a Level 1 coaching certificate. Has held nearly all positions on the Gladstone darts Assn. committee.

Terry Taylor - Delegate
Secretary of the State former State Captain from 1986 to 2003. Current Australian Captain Since 2001. Represents Rockhampton and Zone 8. Life Members of Gladstone Darts, Rockhampton Darts and Queensland.

Barry McLeod - Delegate
President of QLD Darts and former men's Captain represents Zone 5 and Gladstone. Life member of Gladstone Darts.
