LORNA CROFT

It is my sad duty, on behalf of the British Darts Organisation, to report the sad passing of LORNA CROFT, beloved wife of BDO founder Olly Croft, and a wonderfully kind mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was greatly loved by the whole darts fraternity nationally, internationally and worldwide, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her – especially many colleagues and friends within the BDO and WDF.

A fuller obituary and details of the funeral will be issued in due course.

It is with great, great sadness I hear of the passing of Lorna Croft, beloved wife of BDO founder Olly Croft.

To Olly and Family, I would like to convey to you the condolences of all dart players and myself from Australia.

Lorna has helped and supported many Australian dart players that have travelled to the UK over many years. From Terry O’Dea through to Tony David with many more in between, she has always been there to make our visits most welcome. That friendly smile will be sadly missed.

Farewell Lorna – rest easy in the knowledge that you have improved the life that you have touched. You will be remembered here in Australia for your friendship and generousity and your lovely sense of humour.
