First Time Australian Youth Masters Champions

The Australian Junior Darts Champions at the Inala Darts Club in Brisbane concluded today with the Australian youth Masters and Mystery Mixed Doubles.
The results from the Australian Youth Masters saw two new Champions.
The Australian Youth Masters commenced in 1992 and pits the best boy's player and girl's player from each state against each other in a round robin competition.

In the Girl's Youth Masters, South Australia's Kylie Langmair (pictured right) became the second South Australian to win this event.

Barbara Douglas won in 1997 being the first.

This is Kylie's 2nd year representing South Australia and was named 'Rookie of the Year' in her first year at this level.

Kyle Anderson (pictured left) won his first Australian Youth Masters title. This young talented Western Australian has emulated his brother's feat by winning this title.

Kyle's brother Beau won this title in 1999 and 2000.

The great thing about the performance of both Kylie and Kyle is that they both have the opportunity to build on the number of Australian Youth Masters titles as both have at least another two more championships ahead of them.

These two players are also great role models for the sport of darts.
Congratulations to you both.

Full report on the Australian Youth Masters and Mystery Mixed Doubles coming soon.
