| Queensland's Junior

Darts Championships at the Inala Darts Club in Brisbane today. Teams

Queensland Girl's dominated
this years Team's Event winning all of their round. South Australia
was the only state to get close to winning a match against Queensland,
with the Champions winning that match 4-3.
This is the fourth time they have won this event, backing up on
winning the title in Adelaide last year. Playing for the Queensland
Team (Captain Kerry Crowdey -pictured right) are Felicity Allen,
Lauren Peters, Pare'one Matson and Brie Peters.
Plenty of experience (Felicity Allen (pictured right), Lauren Peters
- 3rd time representing Queensland) and new enthusiasm (Pare'one
Matson and Brie Peters - Rookies) helped them through this event
as all players put in a great effort. |

The battle for second
place went right down to the wire with three states battling for
that placing. New South Wales, Northern Territory and Western Australia
were all in the mix.
Starting the final round saw New South Wales with the bye, so they
could do nothing to influence the result. Northern Territory and
Western Australia fought out a close match in the last round with
Northern Territory taking the honors 4-3 and their fourth win which
tied them with New South Wales and Western Australia, so legs was
going to separate these Teams.
Only 2 legs separated these Teams. New South Wales with 8-25 claimed
second place, with Northern Territory (8-24) taking third and Western
Australia finishing in fourth (8-23) |
