Western
Australia Boy's win undefeated
|
| The Western Australian
Boy's clinched the Boy's Teams Event, winning the event for only
the second time in history completing the competition undefeated.

Western Australia inflicted
a 6-1 thrashing on the Queensland Boy's yesterday, reminding everyone
that the Western Australia Team was around the mark in 2003 and
were gaining some pride back.
Queensland was defending champions. The WA Team (Captain Betty Hislop
pictured left) of Kyle Anderson, Mitchell Gardiner, Jack Simpson
(pictured right), Damon Heta and Trenton Phillips was far too strong
and consistent for all the other teams. |

This team highlighted
the strength of junior darts in Western Australia with four of the
five players contesting this years Australian Darts Championships
have two or three more chances at representing there state in future
years.
The challenge for the other states has been set as three of these
players are only fourteen or fifteen years of age and have several
more years of junior darts ahead of them. |

The Queensland
Team (Captain Greg Rideout - pictured left) of Josh Kime,
Travis Lawton, Matt Mullen and
Chris Woods (pictured right) placed
second with only the one loss to Western Australia.
Apart from Western Australia, the Queensland boys were rarely challenged
on the scoreboard.
Placing third was South Australia.
They won their last four rounds of competition, after suffering
defeats to |

Western Australia and Queensland in their first
two rounds of competition.
Captained by Scott Mackinlay, players competing for
South Australia have been Aaron Kocjancic, Bradley Coulson, Shannon
Patterson and Matthew Brown.
