Boy's first 170 finish
South Australian Rohan Perkins today became the first player to hit the maximum 170 pegout at an Australian Darts Championships in the Boy's Events. The only other time the 170 pegout has been hit was back in 1994 when Western Australian Jodie Hislop managed this feat.
Rohan is a country boy hailing from the mid north of the State town of Port Pirie. He is 17 years of age and is a Rookie at this year's Championship.
He hit the 170 finish to the leg of darts against Tasmania in the third round of the Teams Event. He was playing in doubles game with Jacob Loch. The pair had won the first leg. Loch scored 60 to leave Rohan a shot at the maximum pegout to a game of darts which he hit. On the receiving end was Liam Philpott and Nathan Seabourne.
Well done Rohan.
