Boys
Conan Ugle - Rookie (17yrs)
From the country town of Collie this will be his one and only year in juniors but that won't be the last we hear of this player. Made from the same talent mould as other top Indigenous players.
Blake Hatchett - 2nd year (14yrs) (left)
Has improved heaps since last year. Now playing in a senior comp where he has already been selected to represent his Association at State run events.Alex Jones - Rookie (15yrs)
Another country boy. From Geraldton, which is a four and a half hour hike from Perth. Even though he battled a bout of illness early in the year still managed to travel back and forth for most of the junior comps, and also several senior comps representing his Association. His dedication deserves much respect and has paid off for him.Dylan Dunster - Rookie (15yrs)
A newcomer to the sport who has improved rapidly. Always willing to listen and learn which will help him become a top player in the very near future. Despite being pretty much a beginner stepped up in the trials and proved his ability.Girls
Jucinta Dann - 3rd year (16yrs) (left)
Has had a great year. Competed at the Australian Senior Championships and was named rookie. Played well in all events at the Championships. Always sets her goals a little higher for each competition and usually achieves them. Has also played extremely well in her senior weekly competition.Edwina Dryden - Rookie (17yrs)
Has just started playing this year but shows the potential to become a really good player. Still has a lot to learn but has the ability to do so. Has that Indigenous natural talent that will help her develop.
Krissy Smith - 5th year (16yrs) (left)
Has played her best darts this year and shows her game is maturing. Another player who has played well in her senior weekly competition. Seems really determined to improve and do well at the Junior ChampionshipsLee-Anne Watkins - Rookie (17yrs)
Another player with just the one year in the Juniors. Has improved hugely since the start of the year and showed in the trials that she really wants to do well in the Championships.
Officials
Betty Hislop - 28th Junior Championship.
Has attended all, bar the 1st Championships, in an official capacity. Has travelled many kilometres and seen many a Junior player in that time. Really thrilled to see some of these Juniors doing well at the Senior level. This makes the work worthwhile and the criticism easier to accept.Kerry West - 6th Junior Championship
Had to pull out last year because of a serious leg injury but is back in the fold this year and working just as hard as ever to make sure the Juniors are looked after.Lisa Dann - 2nd year in an official capacity.
Filled in for Kerry last year and did a great job. Will carry out any task that needs doing to help the officials and players.
