I started playing local league when I was 23

How did you get into darts?
A friend was short a player and asked if I would fill in, and I had a great time and it all moved on from there.

What year did you make your State Debut?
1998

Ambition:
I think all state reps have an ambition to play for Australia and I'm no exception.

Achievements:

· 2002 State Rep. Season has just begun, Runner up VDC Open
· 2001 Semi finals Marcia Boyd, Semi finals Rene Stevenson Memorial
· Winner VDC State Singles, Quarter final in the Fairfield Classic (NSW)

· Australian:
· 2001 Victorian Teams Champions in Qld, Semi Finals Australian
Singles, Quarter Finalist Pacific Masters, 6th in the top 8 averages
· 2000 Vic team Runners up in Geelong
· 1999 5th top 8 averages

· International:
· Haven't had the pleasure to play overseas yet but I'd love to one day.

What do you remember about your State debut game?
I first played state level in 1998 in the round robin knockouts. I had no idea there were so many great players around, that's when I decided I wanted to be like them, that meant a lot of practice and persistence, but I made the side and haven't looked back.

How did you get into darts?
A friend was short a player and asked if I would fill in, and I had a great
time and it all moved on from there.

Who has been the biggest influence on your career?

Probably my husband, he makes me practice.

What is the best advice your parents ever gave you?

Enjoy life; treat people the way you want to be treated.

What has been your most memorable win?

VDC state singles, behind all the way, best of 7 sets, came down to the last leg and I threw a 14 darter to win the match.

Do you have any superstitions or rituals before competition?

I don't know if this is a ritual or a superstition, but I have my favourite colour undies I wear when I am playing darts.

Best place to spend your time away from darts?

Up in the High country with family and horses.

If you were marooned on island, what would be the one thing you would take if you could?
That would have to be my horse (thought I'd say darts eh)

If you had a superpower, what would it be?

To be able to read peoples minds.

What would you do if you had a million dollars?
Pay off the mortgage, have a massive spend up, then travel the world playing darts, and buying thoroughbred horses for my race stable.

Did you excel in any other sports as a junior?

Athletics, softball, swimming and diving.

Do you follow any other sport?

AFL football, tennis, I love all sports.

Apart from darts, what is your biggest talent?

Anything to do with horses.

Your most memorable moment:
Watching our racehorse Mr Bo Jangles and Frank (husband & rider) win their first race.

Your most embarrassing moment:
Taking my husband shopping, and he pretended !!! to be mentally challenged, I ignored him and the shoppers thought I was the worst carer they had ever seen.

Something that you like, but shouldn't?
Chocolate, it gives me pimples.

What is your worst habit?
I talk too much

What do you wish you could do, but are bad at?
Golf, I don't have the patience

Fun loving, Impatient but Genuine.

Hobbies/Interests:
Riding horses and training for racing and I'm a petrol head as well & I love old cars.

Anything you would like to comment on or add:
I love the sport of darts, and would love to see it in the Olympics one day and the Commonwealth games.
We need more people to recognise darts as a sport and get behind it more. After all it's a sport that all ages can play. One last thing, don't forget to have fun while you are playing our great sport.
