Second quarterfinal: Dave Platt v Dave Methven.
This is only the second time that I have watched Dave Platt on the boards and he is worth watching. Dave (Jock) Methven played some great darts as did Dave Platt at 3 each it looked like going the distance but then Platty showed a bit of class and closed the set 5 - 3.
Averages Dave Platt 83.89 - 25.72pd; Dave Methven 71.53 - 22.87pd.

Third quarterfinal; Neil Hembrow v John Rodd.
It's been awhile since I've had the pleasure of seeing the Rocket play beyond the qualifiers the only player in this State to have hit 2 x 9 dart games in ranked events. John tried hard and won a leg but Neil was far too consistent and won the set 5 - 1.
Averages Neil 90.36 - 27.61pd; John 69.69 - 22.58pd.

Brilliant game to watch, Dave grabbed the first set 2-0, Adam stormed back to snatch the next 2 sets 2-1, Dave fought back and took the 4th 2-0, the last set was a ripper with Adam claiming it 2-0 after Dave had had wired 3 double attempts, Adams game 3 - 2.

Second semi-final: Neil Hembrow v Beau Anderson.
Another cracker game of darts bugger TV lets watch this all day. Neil got away to a flyer tacking the 1st set 2-0 and the 2nd 2-1. Beau then got his game going and grabbed the 3rd 2-1 the 4th 2-0 and stormed home in the 5th 2-1. Great game by both players beau's match 3 - 2.
Averages Beau 98.44 - 30.32pd; Neil 90.11 - 27.82pd.
Final format best of 7 sets each 501 best of 3.

Final: Adam Rowe v Beau Anderson.
We have just watched two outstanding games of darts in the semis' so there is normally a fall of in the final game, not so in this game what a bloody ripper, this is what you want to see your top State players doing every time they toe the oche, great game. Adam snatched the 1st set 2-0, Beau repaid the compliment in the 2nd 2-0, the 3rd leg was tight with Beau tacking it 2-1, Adam bounced back to snatch the 4th set 2-0, the 5th set was a ripper with both players hitting 2 x 180s and really burning the boards Beau hung in to take it 2-1, the 6th set was taken out by Adam 2-1 after Beau missed 32 with 3 darts. 7th and final set Adam wins the 1st leg Beau burns the boards with a 160 out to claim the 2nd leg, great darts from both players in the final leg but it is Adam who puts 40 away to claim the set and the match 4-3 and the title for 2010.
Averages Adam 86.66 - 27.18pd; Beau 84.41 - 26.93pd.
