Ladies Singles

England's Trina Gulliver was World Cup Ladies Singles defending Champion and had played brilliant darts to make the final once again. She played her Pairs partner in Clare Bywaters in this final. Both players missed a few darts at the doubles in the opening leg which Gulliver won. Bywaters won the second leg in 14 darts and won the third leg against the darts in 15 darts giving her the break. Gulliver came back immediately breaking back winning in 16 darts to square up the final 2 - 2.

The deciding tiebreaker saw Gulliver lead off.

Both players matched each other scoring wise coming down to the pegout. Gulliver missed three darts at double 18 giving Bywaters a chance. This was the opportunity she needed and finished on eight to become the new World Cup Ladies Singles Champion.
