NETHERLANDS V SOUTH AFRICA IN YOUTH MIXED PAIRS

England's Ross Smith and Kellie Hammond topped Group A after the round robin stage with wins the Republic of Ireland, Australia, Germany and India. Placing second and advancing through to the semi finals was Germany's Kevin Münch and Jenny Lieverkus with wins over the Republic of Ireland and India. Australia and the Republic of Ireland also had two wins but Germany advanced on leg difference.

In Group B the Netherland's Jonny Nijs and Carla Molema won all of their three rounds with wins over South Africa, Sweden and Wales. Also moving into the semi finals was South Africa's Roman Ariefdien and Tanya Thomas who had just the one loss to the Netherlands.

In the semi finals, South Africa upset England with a 3 -1 while the Netherlands defeated Germany 3 - 0. The Netherlands and South Africa will each other again on Finals Day.
