Boy Singles
England's Ross Smith and the Netherlands Jonny
Nijs will battle out the final of the Boy's Singles
on Saturday.
Both players were very impressive
with their darts all day. Ross Smith had a few
tough matches on his way to the Final. He lost
one game to Sweden's Oskar Lukusiak in their group,
but he still managed to make the semi finals. He
again had a tough semi final when playing Jason
Cullen of the Republic of Ireland. Both players
having a chance at winning when both players missed
a few darts at the double in the final leg.
Smith
came through winning 3 - 2. Jonny Nijs had a similar
path to the final like Smith, losing one round
in his group. He lost to Jason Cullen but made
the semi finals. In the semi finals he defeated
Oskar Lukusiak 3 -1. Both winners of the two groups
lost their semi final matches to players they had
defeated earlier in the round robin.
Girls Singles
Australia's Brie
Peters (left) topped Group A in the
round robin, losing just the one round to Germany's
Jenny lieverkus 3 -2. She played South Africa's
Tanja Thomas in the semi finals. She to had also
lost one round in Group B to Carla Molema of the
Netherlands. Thomas taking the semi final 3 - 1
to make the final.
The winner of Group B was Carla
Molema, who was outstanding when dropping just
one leg in all of rounds in this group. In the
semi finals she defeated England's Kelly Hammond
3 - 0.
